PROFINET GSDML Upgrade Tool
PROFINET
Description:
When developing a new module for a modular PROFINET device it often happens that the existing GSD is based on a specific GSDML version but a higher GSDML version is required to properly describe the new module. In this case the complete existing GSD must be upgraded to the higher GSDML version before the description of the new module can be added. Doing this manually is tedious and error-prone. The UpgradeGSDML tool automates this process to the greatest possible extent.
The tool is provided free of charge by PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (Germany) to all members of PROFIBUS&PROFINET International (PI).
